The Journal of Educational Technology Studies and Applied Research (JETSAR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study, development, and application of educational technology. The Journal of Educational Technology Studies and Applied Research (JETSAR) aims to foster the ethical study and application of theory, research, and practices that advance knowledge, enhance learning, and improve educational performance. The journal empowers educators, researchers, and learners through strategic design, management, implementation, and evaluation of learning experiences and environments, utilizing appropriate processes and resources in the field of Educational Technology.

JETSAR follows a fully open-access model to ensure that all of its content is freely available to researchers, educators, and practitioners worldwide. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original author(s).

Copyright and Archiving

Authors retain the copyright to their works upon publication. JETSAR ensures long-term digital preservation and accessibility through various archival systems, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), the Internet Archive, Neliti Repository, and the BRIN Repository.

Publication and Peer Review

JETSAR follows stringent peer-review procedures to maintain the integrity and quality of the published research. All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous evaluation by qualified experts in the field. The journal adheres to best practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to handle issues related to plagiarism, conflict of interest, retraction, and corrections.

Sponsorship and Disclosure

JETSAR operates independently and does not rely on commercial sponsors for its content. The journal's editorial decisions are made with complete independence, ensuring transparency and academic rigor. We require all authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest to maintain the integrity of the publication process.

Publication Frequency

JETSAR publishes three issues per year, in April, August, and December. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts at any time; however, the journal cannot guarantee that accepted manuscripts will appear in the next available issue if the publication quota is full.
