Publication Fees & Waivers

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication in Educational Technology on Studies and Applied Research are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC covers editorial handling, peer review, online hosting, indexing, and long-term archiving. The applicable APC is determined based on the acceptance date of the manuscript.

Current APC Rates
Subject to VAT or applicable local taxes:

• Regular Publication: IDR 150,000 / USD 11

• Fasttrack Review: IDR 250,000 - 350,000 / USD 21

Fasttrack Review DOES NOT GUARANTEE PAPER WILL BE ACCEPTED

Publication Fee Waiver Policy

Authors may apply for an APC waiver under the following conditions:

1. International Collaboration
   Manuscripts co-authored by contributors from more than one country are eligible for a fee waiver upon request.

2. Institutional Collaboration
   Manuscripts authored by contributors affiliated with more than three (3) distinct institutions may request a publication fee waiver.

3. Scientific Merit Exception
   The editorial board reserves the right to grant a waiver for submissions that demonstrate exceptional scholarly quality or significant contribution to the advancement of Educational Technology. This waiver is discretionary and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
