Educational Technology on Studies and Applied Research (JETSAR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal strictly adheres to international guidelines and best practices set by leading scholarly bodies to ensure responsible research dissemination.
JETSAR applies the principles and recommendations of the following organizations to guide its editorial and publishing processes:
Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) — Core Practices, Retraction Guidelines, and Ethical Oversight for handling allegations of misconduct, conflicts of interest, plagiarism, and corrections.
International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) — Guidelines for authorship, conflicts of interest, ethical considerations for human and animal research, and transparent reporting.
Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) — Definitions of Open Access, licensing policies, and best practices for journal transparency.
Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) — Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
JETSAR's core policies are based on these frameworks and include:
Plagiarism Prevention: All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. Any form of plagiarism will result in rejection or retraction, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Retraction Policy: JETSAR follows COPE’s Retraction Guidelines to safeguard the integrity of the academic record.
Conflict of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. The journal adheres to COPE and ICMJE disclosure standards.
Open Access and Licensing: All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), ensuring free and unrestricted access and use, provided proper attribution is given.
Archiving and Preservation: The journal ensures digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), Internet Archive, Neliti Repository, and the BRIN Repository.
Publication Fees and Waivers: JETSAR is committed to fair and transparent publication charges, and offers waiver mechanisms in accordance with the COPE Guidelines on Author Fees and Waivers.
Responsible Authorship and Research Integrity: JETSAR supports the International Standards for Authors and Editors (Wager & Kleinert, 2011) and requires all submissions to reflect original work that adheres to ethical research conduct.
