Development of Website-Based Interactive Multimedia with 3D Viewer Objects on the Material of Pre-Colonial Community Life in Indonesia for Class X High School History Subjects

Abstract

The development of technology today has a significant development, including in the field of education. The results of the survey through the interview method conducted at SMAN 1 Tumpang explained that the lack of availability of learning media makes the delivery of material less varied, so that students have difficulty in visualizing the material of the prehistoric period, especially examples of relics at that time.
The purpose of this research is to produce website-based interactive multimedia with 3D viewer objects that are feasible to use for learning the history of prehistoric community life material in Indonesia class X SMA. This research uses the R&D method and uses the Lee & Owens development model. In this study, 4 stages of development were used, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. 
The results obtained from material validation are (100%), media experts (100%), individual trials (91.18%), small group trials (94.12%) and field trials (94.46%) so that it can be concluded that website-based interactive multimedia products with 3D viewer objects on pre-skewed material for class X SMA are declared valid/worthy of use in learning history. Student responses show a positive response in media acceptance, especially on the 3D object viewer feature which provides a fun learning experience, increases student involvement, is able to visualize the material of the pre-script period of class X SMA.
